On October 10-12, at the initiative of Vanadzor Specialized School for In-depth Learning of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (Evrika), the Second International Forum on “Socio-Pedagogic Innovations” was held, which aimed at identifying, testing, and disseminating effective social solutions in the field of education.

The Forum was attended by delegations from Samara Region (Russia), Vanadzor State University, VSU College, and different schools of Vanadzor.

The participants gave various innovative presentations and master classes, introducing effective teaching tools, methods, and interesting pedagogical approaches to stimulate the teaching process.

The master class from Vanadzor State University after H. Toumanyan was carried out by Maria Brutyan, Associate Professor at the Chair of History, Specialist at the Department of Educational Reforms, who has been trained at the University of Barcelona (Spain) in the scope of Erasmus+ PRINTeL /Change in Classroom: Promoting innovative Teaching & Learning to Enhance Student Learning Experience in Eastern Partnership Countries/ project. The headline of Maria Brutyan’s class was “Active Learning and Advanced ICT Training. Mobile Learning and Gamification”. The teachers attending the class showed active interest in the implementation of the presented tools, and new ideas on the application of the methods in the everyday pedagogic practice were generated within the course of the discussion.

Anetta Nikoghosyan and Suzn Grigoryan, students of VSU College, also came up with interesting creative innovations. Anetta Nikoghosyan displayed her hand-made parchment, and Suzn Grigoyan demonstrated her self-made clothes designed on her own idea, which had received a special prize in the “Future Designer” competition.
