The National Erasmus+ Office organized Erasmus+ Information Day dedicated to Erasmus+ Capacity Building projects in Higher Education and Jean Monnet Actions, as well as Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility and Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree Programmes on the 22nd of October at VSU.

Gohar Dokholyan, Head of the Department of Cooperation and Relations of VSU, delivered an opening speech in the course of the meeting. Afterwards, Ani Torosyan, NEO Programme Officer, introduced the procedure and terms of applying for Erasmus+ Capacity Building projects in the field of Higher Education to the participants of the meeting.

Then, the event provided space for discussion of results achieved within and presented by the local project coordinators of the two Erasmus+ Capacity Building projects at VSU: BOOST (Gohar Dokholyan) and PRINTeL (Anoush Gevorgyan). It was followed by a dynamic Q&A session.

Anna Khvorostyankina, an employee from Yerevan Brusov State University of Languages and Social Sciences, Coordinator of the new Jean Monnet Module “Legal Approximation Lab” (2019-2022), delivered useful information about submitting an application for Jean Monnet Actions successfully.

The second part of the meeting was dedicated to Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility. Panel discussions were conducted with the employees and the students of Erasmus+ Mobility from VSU. They shared their stories that focused on achievements (skills and competences acquired) and challenges (language and cultural barriers) of studying and teaching abroad.

At the end of the meeting Edith Soghomonyan, NEO Programme Officer, presented the application steps and timeline for those interested in Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree Programmes.
