VSU Faculty of History and Geography hosted a group of the 12th grade pupils from Vanadzor High School № 13 named after Sos Nalghranyan on the 31st of October, 2019. The pupils wanted to attend the classes in “History of Armenians” and “Civil Rights” taught with Bachelor's Degree education programmes in “Jurisprudence” and “History”. The pupils held auditions. They attended the lecture of Maria Brutyan, Assistant Professor of the Chair of History, who delivered a lecture on the theme “Nadir Shah” within the scope of the discipline “History of Armenians” for the third year students in the specialty of “History” in computer classroom № 3. The pupils also attended the lecture of Anoush Piloyan, Professor of the Chair of Philosophy and Politology, who delivered a lecture in the context of the discipline “Civil Rights” for the second year students in the specialty of “Jurisprudence”. The pupils demonstrated keen interest in these lessons. The 12th graders took an active part in the lessons. They answered the questions posed by the lecturers and participated in group work with VSU students.

Gagik Eminyan, the Headmaster of Vanadzor High School № 13 named after Sos Nalghranyan, and the 12th graders expressed their gratitude to Susanna Tumanyan, Acting Rector of VSU, Lusine Kostandyan, Dean of the Faculty of History and Geography, as well as Feliks Movsisyan, Head of the Chair of History, and Gagik Etimyan, Head of the Chair of Philosophy and Politology, for giving them an opportunity to attend the lectures of VSU professors.
