Vanadzor State University is included in “PRINTeL (ERASMUS+)” (Change in Classroom: Promoting Innovative Teaching and Learning to Enhance Student Learning Experience in Eastern Partnership Countries” ) project.

In the framework of the project is prepared a range of workshops and recognizing visits in European Partnership Universities (FH Joanneum Gesellschaft mbH (FHJ), Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven), Universitat de Barcelona (UB), Universidade do Porto (U. Porto), Linkopings Universitet (LiU)).

On June 9-17, 2018 Universities of Barcelona and Porto hosted “PRINTel (ERASMUS+)” team in educational visit. During the two- days workshop (which was held on June 11-12 in the University of Barselona) got the  represenatatives of Eastern Partnership Universities (Yerevan State University (YSU), National Polytechnic University of Armenia (NPUA), Vanadzor State University after H. Tumanyan (VSU) (Armenia); Ilia State University (ISU), Georgian Technical University (GTU) and Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University (TeSaU) (Georgia); Belarusian State University (BSU), Brest State Technical University (BrSTU) and Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno (YKSUG) (Belarus)) acquainted with modern experience of the lecturers’ training centre work, their activities, structure and implementing training programmes.The main organizers of the event were Joan-Thomàs Pujolà and Marina Sole Catala – professors at the University of Barcelona (BU).

On June 14-15, 2018 a Workshop-Training was held in the University of Porto. The main objective of the Workshop-Training was the development of Eastern PC universities Teaching Staff Development Centers (TSDC) administrative staff’s competence in the area of operation of TSDCs, development and realization of innovative training programmes and working out of new operational plans.With pro-rector Fernando Remião and Professor Maria Pinto’s initiative the partners of the University of Porto conducted the workshop in the so-called World Café format, that enabled the participants’ maximal engagement.

Over 35 representatives of Heigher Education Institutions were attended in the Eastern Partnership Universities’ working visits. Anush Gevorgyan Head of the Educational and Methodological Department and Kristine Ghazaryan Head of Lifelong Educational Centre of Vanadzor State University were also included in that group.

On June 16, 2018 the first coordination meeting of the Project Steering Committee (PSC) took place at the University of Porto, where European and Eastern PC institutional coordinators  participated. During the coordination meeting the Work group leaders reported on the progress of ongoing activities, and the activities and corresponding timetables set by the end of 2018 were approved by the PSC.

On November-December in 2018 is going to impliment five-day intensive (accelebrated) training of Eastern Partnership Universities including VSU lecteres either within the framework of the project (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Universitat de barselona, Universidade do Porto, Linkopings Univesitet, Graz University of Applied Sciences), which recruitment nnouncement posted on the website of VSU ( http://www.vsu.am/azd-am/596-erasmus-printel ).
