After making some changes on the agenda of the irregular session of VSU Academic Council, it was approved unanimously by the participants of the session. The issue of making a change in the admission procedure for Master’s Degree program for the academic year 2020-2021 of “Vanadzor State University named after H. Toumanyan” Foundation and the issue of guaranteeing for publication the monograph of Haykush Mamikonyan, a lecturer at VSU Chair of Mathematics, were added to the list of current issues on the agenda, at the suggestion of Seda Bezhanyan, VSU Academic Secretary.

The issue on “The approval of the dissertation topics and academic supervisors of VSU applicants” was approved unanimously by the members of VSU Academic Council.

Anush Gevorgyan, Head of VSU Educational-Methodological Department, delivered a report on “Making a change in the admission procedure for Master’s Degree program for the academic year 2020-2021.” Based on the order of the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, in which an amendment was made in the Decree on “Admission to Master’s Degree program and study for it in Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Armenia” that was approved by the order № 1193-N of December 6, 2007 of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia and the letter № 01/06.1/12638-20 of the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, it was suggested that the paragraph 11 should be reworded as follows: “The first stage of admission to Master’s Degree program is carried out within the deadline provided by the decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia on organizing the conscription for the respective year for full-time study of the given academic year approved by the Government of the Republic of Armenia and with full refund of tuition fees (tuition free education system) by the Republic of Armenia, which can be attended by the graduate students and certificated specialists.” The paragraph 11.1. was added to the agenda of the irregular session of VSU Academic Council and was reworded as follows: “The first stage of entrance exams was organized on July 2-5, 2020 (according to the schedule)", and the words of the paragraph 26 “Until June 10” were replaced with the words “Until July 1.”
