The Department of procurement coordination is formed on the 18th of March, in 2013. It is considered to be one of the administrative divisions of Vanadzor State University. It aims to implement the procurement process of the University according to RA law on Procurements and requirements of the governmental decision on the organization of the process of procurements and to save financial means as a result of competition arisen during the organization of competitions.

The functions of the department of procurement coordination are the followings:

  1. to form procurement application.
  2. to control contract (contractor, supplier, etc.) for the fulfillment of the obligations under the contract.
  3. to receive the result of implementing the contract.
  4. to present the list of the people (candidates), who are nominated in the aim of being included in the assessment committee.
  5. to give conclusion on the documents approved by the customer in the scope of the procurement; to ensure the compliance of the procurement procedure and the documents which are related to it with the terms of the procurement legislation of the Republic of Armenia.
  6. to carry out the powers of the secretary of the evaluation committee:

. to organize the work of the committee,

. to receive and register the applications,

. to compile and submit to the commission the projects of the documents which must be confirmed,

. to provide a letter of  invitation,

. to write and edit information related to the function of the committee by forming the relevant document and ensure the safety of the protection of these documents during commission activities,

. to be responsible for commission activities, for the compliance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Armenia,

  1. to form and present the protocol of the procedure of procurement and the contract to the head of customer for approval,
  2. to present a report about the works which are carried out by the demand of the ruling class,
  3. to ensure the procurement proceedings.
